I have done an inside research for you on these Pc Satellite Tv Softwares and hopefully this review will enable you to take your final decision. I have purchased all Versions of Professional , Elite and Titanium editions of Pc Satellite Tv Softwares some days ago to put them under my thorough review.  Number of TV/Radio Stations Selection:
 The 2009 Professional Edition of Pc Satellite Tv has 2800+ Tv channels while 2009 Elite Edition has 3000+ Tv channels from around the world (about 80 countries) and the 2009 Titanium Edition of Pc Satellite Tv has 4000+ channels from 100+ countries. First of all, all 3 editions are similar but the only difference is the number of channels (Elite has additional 200+ Tv Channels and Titanium has additional 1200+ Tv Channels) and there is a better search capability in both Elite & Titanium editions. Well, I didn't physically count the number of channels but based on the menu options on TV and Radio stations, there are a lot of tv channels to choose from. All editions have 1,500 radio stations, but there are more radio stations in Titanium edition. Each TV/Radio station is categorized by Country which will help you narrow down your search by language. Availability of Channels: Most of the TV stations are available 24-7. However, some channels do really work only during certain times of the day either due to the time-zone differences in countries or technical feasibility in the selected country. The good news is that all US, UK, Canada, Germany, France and major countries in Europe, Asia and Africa have uninterrupted TV stations round-the-clock such as ABC News, ESPN, BBC News, CNN, Music/Movies Channels, etc. Variety of Channels: Furthermore, you will able to watch 24/7 News, TV Sitcoms, Movie Central, Music TV, Kids Channels (Cartoons), Sports Channels (ESPN, Eurosports, Baseball Channel, Golf, Cricket, Soccer, NBA, NFL, NHL, Football, Rugby & much more), News Channels, Shopping Channels, World-wide Weather Channels, Religious Stations, Home & Gardening (HGTV), Cooking Stations and much more! Ease Of Using The Software:
It is a Windows-based program. This means that it only works only in Microsoft Windows-95/98/ME/XP Home/Professional/Vista Operating Systems. It doesn't function on MAC directly. However, if you have got a 'Virtual PC' installed, you can use this software on MAC as well. You don't need to be a computer expert to use the software. If you're in this page, you already know how to use this (Click & Play). Most importantly, you don't need any special hardware to watch live TV online. All you need is the software and of course a good Internet connection. If you have high-speed (recommended), then you can definitely enjoy uninterrupted streaming. Please note that I was able to find a handful of dial-up connection enabled TV stations out of 3000+ channels. Picture/Sound Quality:This is one of the main priority that I would look out for in a Pc Satellite Tv software. How the quality of the tv picture that am going to get would be? Well, it depends on the channel/country. All major premium/best channels from each country have excellent picture and sound quality but there are channels that provide average quality but still they are very much enjoyable without squinting.  Minor Turnoff The only thing that I noticed with this Pc Satellite Tv is that you can't bookmark your favorite channels. Anytime you want to use it, you will need to navigate the respective country's menu option to watch your favorite channel. It would have been a lot easier if we could somehow bookmark our favorite ones and quickly get to them. In spite of this minor turn off, it's definitely worth your every penny for all other wonderful features it offers. |
